I am a wife, mom, former cheese maker & farm kid, child of Christ, and lover of all things pretty. Seriously, if it has sparkles, is metallic, or lit by golden hour, I. Am. There. I have been actively working as an airbrush makeup artist in Bellingham, Wa since 2012 and in that time have been featured in several publications including Bellingham Alive, Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, and PopSugar. I love being creative with makeup, but I ADORE infusing confidence and calm into every face I touch.

Hi there, I’m Kaitlyn!

I enjoy being apart of weddings start to finish. From meeting at the trial to perfect your vision so that, I can give you and your bridal party a calm start to the wedding day. I love connecting over the details of weddings and on a personal level to help create a style that best suits.

Outside of being a stylist you’ll find my husband and I traveling. Whether it’s a road trip from one state to another or by plane to somewhere new and far. As well as spending time at home starting a new project on our fixer upper or just relaxing with our dogs.

I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for 10 years and joined the EM Bridal team 5 years ago. Being there for a bride on a day she will look back on for the rest of her life is an honor I cherish. Getting ready for your wedding with your friends and family is always so special, and I love getting to be apart of it!

Being apart of the EM Bridal team has pushed me to strive for perfection and to always provided my best work for brides and their loved ones.

I have been apart of this wonderful team for going on 5 years now and I love EVERY second of it! Making people feel beautiful on their special day is so rewarding. I especially love getting to do hair and makeup for my elopement brides and see the wonderful adventures they choose to go on on their wedding day! I love getting to go on a beautiful drive to the mountains to help brides get ready to celebrate their love!

When I’m not doing bridal hair and makeup, you can find me working on any kind of creative project I can get my hands on! From content creation, social media management, photography, editing, etc., I absolutely love to keep myself busy with fun and creative work.

I have 10 years of experience working in the cosmetology field. My passion within this industry is styling, and I get to focus on that passion by being working on the EM Bridal team! On my off days you will find me at home on the farm with my boys. Enjoying every moment spent with them because they grow way too fast!

Welcome! I’m Alexandra Bergsma, most commonly known as Zandra for short. I joined the bridal team in 2023 and am enjoying being a part of so many wonderful weddings days!

Outside the studio, you will find me mocking up new garden plans or house designs for my family’s historic home. Besides that my days are full with family adventures. I’m keen on traveling more with the world finally opening back up again!

Hey there! I’m Alisa, a hairstylist based in Everson, WA. Five years ago I trained at Kosmetae Academy in Abbotsford, BC, and picked up a lot of skills at Rustic Roots and through styled shoots.

For me, the right hairstyle isn’t just about looking good; it’s all about making you feel confident and beautiful, whether it’s your big day or just any day! I love helping brides bring their visions to life and really enjoy spending that special time with you.

Lea - Makeup Artist

I’m excited to be back for my second season as a makeup artist on the bridal team! More than anything, I want the people in my chair to leave as the most confident version of themselves. My favorite part of a wedding is the chance to pamper each member of the bridal party and help them to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the day. It’s so fun!

I really enjoy talking to each client; getting to know them and what they are looking for in their makeup is one of the most important parts of my job. Being on a team of artists and stylists that are so talented brings constant inspiration and support, and having us there together makes the day both fun and smooth!

Obsessed with all things glam and wedding! After 8 years of experience as a professional, certified, and multi-published makeup artist I am so honored and excited to be a part of the EM Bridal Team. It is always a great experience getting to work along side such a talented and kind group of women.

When the kit and chair are away you will find me enjoying being a Mama, looking for any excuse to throw a themed gathering/party with friends and family, or binging some juicy reality tv!

I’ve always had a passion for beauty! I’ve been doing makeup for friends and family for as long as I can remember, and vividly remember a time in high school when I successfully applied mascara on a friend while in a moving vehicle in downtown Seattle - not a smudge or a poke took place! It was then I knew I was destined for this some how, some way!

I spent time getting my BA and pursuing a career in HR all while dabbling in makeup for friends along the way. In 2022 I decided it was time to finally & officially chase after what I’d always felt called for and started my own beauty business, Moxie Tans. Not too long after, I was invited to join the EM Bridal Team - truly a dream come true!

A few of my favorite things aside from beauty are iced coffee, personal/professional development & human connection… I look forward to all I get to connect with through the EM Bridal Team!

I have been styling hair on this wonderful, highly talented bridal team since 2021. My passion for styling began when I took on my first wedding during my sophomore year in high school!

I absolutely love connecting with people & being a part of such a memorable day. Bringing your ‘big day’ hair visions to life is one of my favorite things to do!

When my styling kit is put away, you can catch me enjoying God’s beautiful creation, playing games with friends & family, barrel racing, or planning my next trip out of town with my husband!

Hi there, my name is Carla Harkness.

I am from the Pacific Northwest and have been styling hair professionally since 2011 (but my passion for playing with hair goes way back). I specialize in bridal and special events styling. I absolutely love that I get to meet people from all over the states in different walks of life, and they allow me to play such a special part in their most memorable day. I always been drawn to hairstyling and the impact it can make in someone’s confidence.

A little about me: I married my high school sweetheart and together we have three beautiful children that the Lord has blessed us with. When I am not at the salon you can find me with a coffee in hand all over our little town of Lynden either coaching cheerleading, working at Lynden Christian school or supporting my kids in their sports and activities.
